For pet travelers flying on American, United, Delta, AirTran, Southwest, Alaska Airlines and Northwest Airlines, this program will guarantee that your pet will be able to board the cabin of the aircraft as long as your Sherpa carrier is the appropriate size for your pet.

As you are ordering the large size, we strongly suggest that you contact your airline(s) for the measurements underneath the seat in front of you. Not all airlines can accommodate the large size Sherpa Carriers.

Recommendations for Pets that Get Nervous or Excited During Travel
If your pet gets nervous or excited when traveling, we have several recommendations for you:
- For pets who can experience an accident in their carrier because they are nervous, elderly or ill, we recommend our smallest size pet pads which will fit perfectly into Sherpa carriers. These pet carrier pads will keep your pet dry and comfortable during travel. TIP: Layer several of them in the carrier so you can quickly remove the soiled pad and a fresh pad will be ready to go.
- For pets that get upset or overly stimulated when traveling, we recommend all natural pet calmers for dogs. These all-natural treats can take the edge off of nervous or hyperactive pets.
