Pet Passport China

China requires that your pet be vaccinated for rabies at least 30 days prior to travel. Your veterinarian must then complete the proper Veterinary Certificate in duplicate and attach the APHIS Form 7001 for certification by the USDA or CFIA if traveling from the US or Canada. If you are traveling to China from another country, the instructions will advise you of the proper procedure. 

Your pet will be quarantined for 7 days upon arrival in China and then subject to an additional 23 days of home quarantine.
