British Virgin Islands require and Import Permit for entry. Additionally, your pet must be microchipped with a 15 digit ISO Standard 11784 pet microchip. If your pet has a non-ISO microchip, then you need to carry your own microchip scanner.
Your pet must be vaccinated for rabies and then your veterinarian will then draw a blood sample for a Blood Titer Test. These procedures must be done at least 6 months prior to entering the British Virgin Islands as they are rabies free.
Within 21 days of travel, your veterinarian must then complete the proper Veterinary Certificate and attach the APHIS Form 7001 for certification by the USDA or CFIA if traveling from the United States or Canada. If you are traveling from a different country, the instructions will advise you of the proper procedure.
Additionally, the British Virgin Islands require an Import Application and Ticks and Tapeworm test.
